Our aim from the start was to provide PLC support to the manufacturing industry. We recognise that a lot of companies have engineers with the skills and abilities as well as a vision to build production equipment, but there is still a need to provide the control and automation for those machines.
We work alongside production and design engineers to develop control systems specifically to perform their required task.
The key elements of the ‘PLC Support’ service;
- Providing control systems for new machines or processes
- Providing Touch Screens
- Creating backups of systems
- Adding new elements onto existing kit, for example motor inverters for conveyors
- PLC Upgrade: general upgrading of obsolete parts and PLC’s.
Many of our customers choose us because of our flexibility. We offer all levels of control systems:
- Basic Relay Logic (no PLC so Hard wired), suitable for small projects
- Programmable Relays (mini PLC’s) for more complex small projects;
- Entry Level PLC: these have integrated inputs and output and can handle more complex task whilst providing an economic solution;
- Modular PLC: these PLCs can handle a greater number of complex tasks simultaneously and act as a platform for Network operations;
- PC based Scada Systems;
- Touch screens including those that have integrated PLCs;
- Servo systems.
Have a look at our case studies pages for examples of the types of systems we have been involved in.
We have the ability to program a wide range of manufacturers PLCs including:
Allen Bradley,
Siemens,
Mitsubishi,
Koyo and many more.
Most people have site standards so it is important to find out which manufacturer suits the task and your maintenance capability.
